Pristine Nepal Treks & Expedition presents Everest Base Camp Trek for OFF SEASON for an experience, challenge, & for a peace travel. Actually, Everest base camp trek is always possible for all kinds of tourists. There is a really nice time in offseason, you may enjoy nature, and you may feel you are on the mountain. Normally, it is too busy for pick season then you always have race & it cannot be isolated. Please choose an offseason to come to here for your extra experience.
Of course, there is always a risk in off-season time for excellent weather. It is very cold at night in winter season so warm sleeping bag is mandatory but the temperature is acceptable in the day. And monsoon is not bad in Everest region; normally it is always nice weather above the 4,000m. You need always warm clothes, warm sleeping bag, getters, & warm hat for Everest base camp trek but it is very compulsory in the winter season.
Especially, we arrange this offseason trek for those people who want to go in peace environment to feel natural. There are no many tourists in off seasonal time that is a nice thing. If you like to go with not many people & not busy mountain road, come here for your life experience.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2680m)
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m)
Day 4: Rest day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatizing
Day 5: Trek to Tyangboche (3820m)
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4450m)
Day 7: Rest day Dingboche for acclimatizing
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4910m)
Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5180m) & trek to EBC than back to Gorakshep
Day 10: Hike to Kalapathar in early morning & trek down to Pheriche
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazar
Day 12: Trek to Lukla
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu
Day 01 / ARRIVAL DAY IN KATHMANDU (1335m)
On arrival in Kathmandu, we will receive and bring to the hotel. There will be introduced with guide & tell about the trip.
Day 02 / FLY TO LUKLA & TREK TO PHAKDING 2660 M
Morning transfer to domestic airport for a sweeping scenic flight of 30 minutes to Lukla, Lukla airport or Tenzing –Hillary Airport. This is one of the world’s most unique airstrips with ups and downs short runway, after a time for refreshment in Lukla, where your bigger baggage will be carried by our porters. From Lukla, our first-day walk begins on the gradual path with much downhill and short climb passing traditional Sherpa farm villages with views of snow-capped peaks. After a pleasant walk reaching overnight stop at Phakding located by the glacier-fed Dudh Kosi (river)
Day 03 / TREK TO NEMCHE BAZR 3440 M
After a pleasant overnight with the sound of the river, morning walk leads following Dudh Kosi, crossing few bridges to reach Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo village. From walk leads to the last village of Jorsalle before Namche Bazaar walking on the river bed and forested area. After crossing the last high bridge few hours climb with marvelous views of peaks with Everest then reaching famous Namche Bazaar, here with two nights in this large prosperous trading town / village as well the main centre of Khumbu with facilities of ATMs, Cybercafes, stores, shops, restaurants, banks and fresh bakery with a busy colorful Saturday market.

Day 04 / REST DAY IN NAMCHE BAZAR
Namche a perfect spot for rest and acclimatization day, this morning a leisure short hike up to park museum with full information from mountaineering, flora/fauna of the area with Sherpa culture and Buddhist religions, this scenic spot offers grand views of mountains Mt. Everest and stunning Ama Dablam.
For energetic and interested can take few hours hike uphill to Everest View Hotel for best views of Mt. Everest and other mountains.
Day 05 / TREK TO TYANGBOCHE 3810 M
After a nice rest at Namche, morning walk leads on the gradual winding path into rhododendron and pine tree forest with views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku and Kwangde peak.
After few short ups walk descends to Imjatse River at Phung Tenga, with rest for lunch and then afternoon walk leads to a climb for few hours through the pristine forested area to reach Thyangboche Monastery. Thyangboche Monastery located on a small plateau with wonderful views of Ama Dablam, Kangtenga, Thamserku, Kwangde and Mt. Everest. A holy spot as the head lama (Rinpoche) resides in this famous monastery, where mountaineers and climbers of major expeditions get blessed by the high priest for success and safe climb.
Day 06 / TREK TO DINGBOCHE 4410 M
Morning with eye-catching views of mountains, our journey starts with a long descent through beautiful birch-rhododendron and pines forest and then crossing a bridge over Imja Khola.
From here tree lines stops for short bushes of juniper and dwarf rhododendron bushes (Azalea), after the bridge, a slow climb brings your at Pangboche, this is the last permanent village further up are temporary settlements to cater the needs of travelers with fine cozy lodges.
The walk leads slowly into exposed areas of windswept landscapes with grand close views of Mt. Ama Dablam with gradual up and crossing the last small bridge reaches you at Dingboche for another town night stops. Dingboche located on scenic Imjatse Valley a summer grazing areas for yaks, at present with many good lodges with a great panorama of mountains with views of Island peak, Lhotse-Nuptse and North Face of Ama-Dablam.
Day 07 / REST DAY IN DINGBOCHE
Rest day at Dingboche will add proper acclimatization at this high altitude on this day take a slow walk uphill to Nagarjuna hill for better views of surrounding peaks including Mt. Makalu towards east, one can take a walk to Chukung the last human settlement with beautiful views along the trail, taking more than 4-5 hours and back.
Day 08 / TREK TO LOBUCHE 4910 M
After Dingboche, climb uphill for an hour then a nice good walk to Thugla ( Dugla) on the midway of Pheriche-Dingboche and Lobuche, with views of Taboche, Cholatse, Lobuche, Pumori, Ama Dablam. Thugla a popular lunch spot for people heading up the hill to Everest base camp, after a lunch break an hour climb to a ridge called as Thug-la pass with many stone memorials of unfortunate climbers died on Everest-Lhotse-Pumori expeditions. From this lovely spot, an hour more of pleasant walk brings you at Lobuche on route Everest base camp.
Day 09 / TREK TO EVEREST BASE CAMP & OVERNIGHT IN GORAK SHEP
Walk this morning is gradual with few short steep up but can be tough due to high altitude gain with awesome views of Mt. Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse and Mt. Everest. After few hours of strenuous and scenic walk reaching at Gorakshep as the trek leads over moraine and glaciers to Gorakshep with few lodges, located beneath Kalapathar Hill and Pumori peak on route Everest base camp.
Gorakshep was the original base camp in early 1950’s to 1970’s, here with overnight stop after reaching our main highlight of this adventure at Everest base camp.
From Gorakshep few hours of walk leads to base camp over rocks, boulders, moraine and glacier on reaching world highest Everest base camp, enjoy the surrounding views enclosed within Everest hidden behind high peaks of Lho-La-Nuptse with close views of notorious Khumbu Ice-Falls. In mountaineering high season April to June, this place will be flooded with hundreds to colorful tents, climbers, and staff. After reaching our goal and highlight head back to Gorakshep for last overnight stop in high Khumbu valley.
Day 10 / TREK DOWN TO PHERICHE 4200 M
Early morning a steep climb to the top of Kalapathar for the fantastic panorama of surrounding giant peaks including Mt. Everest at close distance, this will be the highest point of the adventure at 5,545 m / 18,192 ft.
After an overwhelming time on the top downhill to Gorakshep and continue trek to reach Pheriche for an overnight stop, walk leads on the same route to Thugla, after a small bridge heading down to Pheriche windy valley. A nice walk of few hours from the valley brings at Pheriche with many good lodges and HRA (Himalayan Rescue Association) medical post.
Day 11 / TREK TO NAMCHE BAZAR
Leaving Pheriche with super views of Ama Dablam, with downhill after a short climb then back into the lower altitude of tree lines, walk leads past Pangboche and from the bridge an hour climb brings you back Tyangboche Monastery. After lunch another down hil to Phungi Thanga then a small up hill to kyanjuma. Then easy way to Namche Bazar for over night.
Day 12 / TREK BACK TO LUKLA
Morning walk along descend to Imjatse River after crossing a high bridge with short steep uphill and then with gentle walk all the way beside the Dudh Kosi river. Lots of short small up hill & down hill to Lukla. Lukla, last night on mountain for this trek.
Day 13 / FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU
From Lukla an early morning flight to Kathmandu, sometimes the flight time can be a delay due to bad weather conditions, as per your flight time board in a small plane for super, scenic flight back to Kathmandu, on reaching Katmandu domestic terminal. Guide transfers you back to your hotel with the afternoon free for individual activities.
Day 14 / DEPARTURE FROM KATHMNADU
At your last day in our beautiful country Nepal, our staff will transfer you to the airport at any time that is convenient for you. We, the people from Pristine Nepal Trekking, will have made sure that you had an enjoyable and memorable time at the Everest base camp trek by providing quality service, experienced guidance and by doing our best every day.
Winter can be very cold around base camp areas for a couple of days & monsoon can have flight problem due to bad weather but it is very nice to be there with no many tourist. You may feel & enjoy nature beauty.
